We realised how beautiful this spot was and thought about how it is a great place to sit back and relax. Quickly the plan arose to build a chalet on the mountain and after enjoying several summers we wanted to offer our chalet to persons who travel by caravan as well. Bobrowniki is located in a spot in Poland were you probably not think about to go to in the first place. Most people think about Gdansk, an important city by the beach, or Krakau and Zakopane with its mountains. However this is the beauty of Bobrowniki; no mass tourism, but the peace and space of the beautiful nature. The country estate is approximately 7000m2 and it offers camping, staying in our farm, or luxurious chalet. The village Bobrowniki is located 1100km from the Netherlands and is fairly small. It connects to the river the Wisla, 15km from Wloclawek. It is surrounded by forest and several lakes. The lakes are desolated so lots of opportunity to go walking, swimming, fishing or biking. Bobrowniki has several little shops, yet you will feel like you are in the 50’s, it is an experience. For modern shops and restaurants Wloclawek is the place to visit. It is located an estimated 40 km from Torun, Kopernikus birth place. This is an ancient city with lots of culture, like buildings, an old city wall and Kopernikus house of birth. Close by you will find Ciechocinek, a health resort, and within 150 kilometres even Warschau is a possibility. As you can see, besides the quietness, there is lots of opportunity for excursions and experience Poland in the daily life.
